At work when a girl turns 18 we call it "aging out." Essentially they are "adults" and have to start living a more independent life.

I think I will tell that I am an adult if I am at the age of 18 because it is the proper age where you could be independent to your parents. I think that i love the quote you have shared. Thank you for sharing it.
